He has authored two textbooks: Advanced Geometry in mathematics and Electromagnetism in theoretical physics.Authored his first book 'Advanced Geometry' in Pure Mathematics published with Notion Press in March 2014. He published a Hand Book for Advanced Geometry first on Academia in 2015 and wrote over 100 articles (proposed theory, theorems, and analytic formulae) in Pure Mathematics specifically in Geometry directly introduced in the public domain. He received 'Best Paper Award' for outstanding performance for his research paper 'Magnetic Field Generated by Rotating Electric Charge' in Young's Scholar's National Research Writing Competition organized by Mindshare Yuva on 8th March 2021. He received 'Excellence in Peer-Reviewing' award for his outstanding contribution to the quality of the book titled 'Time in Mathematical Modeling' on 28th Dec 2023. He has been an editorial board member of Mathematics Letters at Science Publishing Group, New York, United States since 29 April 2024. He has been an active reviewer for the Mathematics and Physics Stack Exchange communities since Jan and May 2015, the Journal of Pure and Applied Mathematics (IF: 4.0), Pulsus Group since Feb 2023, and BP International since Dec 2023. His broad area of research is femtosecond laser micromachining of dielectric materials.

Collaborative Projects

Apart from his PhD thesis work, he is currently working with various collaborative projects based on the applications of femtosecond laser micromachining of diverse materials. He is looking for the following research collaborations.

Laser Optics

His work encompasses the spatial and temporal shaping of Gaussian laser beams using ultrafast laser optics for potential industrial applications in precision microfabrication.

  • Temporal shaping of Gaussian beam using acousto-optic modulator (AOM)
  • Spatial shaping using homogenizers, axicons, objective lenses, filters, phased-arrays
  • Generation of GHz bursts from MHz fs laser pulses for ultra-precision applications
  • Design and fabrication of ultrafast laser mirrors with dielectric coatings

Microfabrication

His PhD thesis focuses on femtosecond laser micromachining of glasses, encompassing a wide range of glass processing techniques.

Nanofabrication

His work focuses on the Laser Induced Periodic Surface Structure (LIPSS) on the surface of dielectrics, metals, and semiconductors.

  • Fabrication of hydrophobic surfaces of glasses (soda lime, quartz, borosilcate) for biomedical applications
  • Fabrication of LIPSS on semiconductors (Si-wafers) for solar cell applications
  • High and low-spatial frequency LIPSS on metals (SS-304, SS-316) for micro heat exchangers

Laser-Matter Interaction

His research works include the following modelings and simulations.

  • Investigation of the ablation mechanisms of glasses by ultrafast lasers in ambient air and liquid media
  • Incubation models for multipulse ablation by femtosecond lasers
  • Two Temperature Model using COMSOL Multiphysics
  • Statistical models (CNN, RNN) for prediction of optimized process parameters

Laser Systems

He is working on upgradation of commericial laser systems such as Nd and Yb solid state lasers for increasing the power and efficiency by deploying state-of-art of laser crystals.

  • Generation of higher order harmonics of ultrafast lasers with 1030 nm wavelength using SHG crystals
  • Deploying fiber lasers with state-of-art of laser crystals dopped with Tm, Ho
  • Designing and development of laser systems and optics for customized industrial applications

Microdevices

His research works on femtosecond laser micro-processing of vide variety of materials include the development/fabrication of following microdevices.

  • Microfluidic devices
  • Metallic grids for rechargeable batteries
  • Microhole arrays for biomediacl devices
  • Customized masks for photo-lithography
  • Laser shock peening of small-scale metallic surfaces
