The idea is to compare and contrast mesh and PG geometries for applications like bit-flipping, and see if PGs can get better power-performance efficiencies on ASIC layouts. The comparisons are on post-layout databases using performance-per-watt as the main criteria. PG geometries are denser from a routing PoV compared to mesh geometries. Mudit is going to take a mesh NoC and add bit-flip PEs to it. He is going to contrast against a 7x7 PG geometry with the same bit-flip PEs.
