New Innovation: Methods and systems for Discontinuity Detection in Pipelines

Dr. Uddip Kashyap, an IPDF in the Department of Mechanical Engineering has won the Atal Innovation Mission - Innovation Center Denmark (AIM-ICDK) water innovation challenge 2021 in the category of Young Entrepreneur track. Uddip has also won third prize on a conclave organized by North East Centre for Technology Application and Outreach (NECTAR), Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA), and Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) at Shillong, Meghalaya. Uddip has innovated a cost-effective technology to detect pipe leakage independent of fluid flowing through it.
