Thanks for interest in CM 801, the 800-level course designed for research students focusing primarily on Climate Studies and Environmental Science. CM 801 is specifically designed to cater to individuals engaged in research within the field, and it primarily deals with ecological, human health (toxicology), and climate risk aspects. Therefore registration priority will be given to the ESED (Environmental Science and Engineering) and CCS (Climate Studies) students (maximum strength is 75).
It is important to note that the course does not cover topics related to managerial/corporate risk analysis. If your enthusiasm lies in exploring the intersections of human health and climate risk rather than acquiring corporate risk analysis experience, this course would be a good fit.
Please note that the course is not open to sit-through students; only registered participants with a genuine interest in the aforementioned areas will be allowed to enroll. Therefore, please drop the course if you don't have keen interest in Climate Studies and Environmental Science.
