Dr. Sudhir Kumar is an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow (IPDF) at the IIT Bombay, India. He received his Ph.D. in Materials Science from IIT Kharagpur, in 2026. His research focuses on energy storage and conversion technologies, with extensive experience in the synthesis, characterization, and electrochemical evaluation of advanced functional materials for batteries, supercapacitors, and electrocatalytic water splitting. Dr. Kumar earned his BS-MS dual degree in Materials Science from the NIT Nagaland, where he worked on polymer composite materials for dye degradation and optoelectronic applications. Following the completion of his Ph.D., he served as a Research Fellow in the Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering at IIT Delhi. In January 2026, he joined the NEMO Laboratory, Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science (MEMS), IIT Bombay, as a Senior Research Fellow and is currently pursuing postdoctoral research focused on next-generation energy storage and conversion systems.

Bhanu Prakash Bisht is an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow (IPDF) in the NEMo Lab at IIT Bombay. His research focuses on additive manufacturing, functional materials, and advanced device fabrication for optoelectronic applications and energy storage. His work integrates 3D printing, nanomaterials, and surface engineering to develop architected materials with enhanced performance. His current research interests include MXene-based functional devices, topology-engineered electrodes for next-generation supercapacitors and multifunctional lattice structures for sensor applications.

Dr. Mitva Choudhary is an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow (IPDF) at IIT Bombay, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from UPES Dehradun, specializing in the synthesis, functionalization, and advanced characterization of nanomaterials and functional composite architectures. His research expertise spans the design and optimization of novel 2D materials including MXenes, MoS2, and elemental 2D allotropes for high-sensitivity sensing platforms. Dr. Choudhary has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications in high-impact international journals & 4 patents for novel nanomaterial formulations and sensor technologies. His current work focuses on integrating structured nanohybrids into water, environment and chemiresistive sensors related applications.

Dr. Shubham Raj is an Institute Postdoctoral Fellow (IPDF) at IIT Bombay, India. Dr. Raj holds a Ph.D. (May, 2025) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, where he was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF). His research focuses on the design of advanced semiconductor and MOF-based functional materials for photocatalysis, electrochemical advanced oxidation processes, carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS), and membrane technologies. His work integrates materials synthesis, advanced characterization, reactor engineering, and process optimization to develop scalable solutions for emerging pollutants-based wastewater treatment, and environmental remediation. He did his M. Tech (2019) in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur where he was involved adsorption-based water treatment for heavy metals. Following the completion of his Ph.D., he served as a Project Post Doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT Kanpur.

Aarjith is a DBT-Junior Research Fellow (DBT-JRF) pursuing his Ph.D. at the Centre for Sophisticated Instruments and Facilities (CSIF), IIT Bombay. His academic journey spans Zoology, Biotechnology, and Materials Science, bringing together expertise from the life sciences and engineering. He holds an M.Sc. in Zoology from St. Thomas College (Autonomous) and an M.Tech. in Biotechnology from IIT Guwahati and has qualified GATE. His research focuses on femtosecond laser-assisted two-photon lithography for fabricating biomimetic 2D/3D micro- and nanostructured scaffolds to investigate cell alignment, cell–material interactions, and advanced 2D/3D cell culture platforms.

Aman obtained his M.Tech in Materials Science & Technology from National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra in 2020 and B.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from University of Petroleum & Energy Studies in 2017. He worked on graphene based microwave absorbing materials in CSIR - Central Scientific Instruments Organization (CSIO). Aman Singhal is pursuing his PhD at Department of Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science, IIT Bombay. His research interests include computation and experimental work on metamaterials, photonics, two-photon lithography and optoelectronics.

Ariya K. Vijayan is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering & Materials Science at IIT Bombay. Her research focuses on electrochemical energy storage, nanostructured materials, and the integration of computational and experimental approaches for advanced materials design. She obtained her M.Sc. in Physics from the Central University of Punjab in 2023 and her B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Calicut in 2021. During her master's studies, she worked on the computational investigation of energy storage materials using density functional theory (DFT).

Jyotiraman received his M.Tech in CAD-CAM from RTM Nagpur University in 2016 and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from University of Pune in 2012. He worked as Technology and Intellectual Property Division Head at Kalyani Studio (Kalyani group product development start-up) for 3.5 years and prior to that as an Engineer at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited for 1 year. He is also a licensed Patent Agent registeredwith the Indian Patent Office, Government of India. He is presently working as PhD student at the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Bombay. His research focuses on development of graphene based filters, sensors and devices for water filtration and sensing purpose.

Sonu Kumar Singh received his M.Sc. in Applied Physics from Pt. Ravishankar Shukla University (Pt. R.S.U.), Raipur, in 2021. He was awarded the University Gold Medal for securing the highest rank in his M.Sc. batch and the Department Gold Medal for outstanding academic excellence. Following his master's degree, he served as a Guest Assistant Professor at Pt. R.S.U. Raipur. Prior to this, he worked as an Ad Hoc Lecturer in the Department of Physics at St. Thomas College, Bhilai. He is currently a DST INSPIRE Senior Research Fellow and a Ph.D. research scholar in the Department of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. His research focuses on the design and fabrication of three-dimensional micro- and nanostructures using two-photon lithography for integrated photonics, with an emphasis on advanced micro/nanofabrication, functional materials, and integrated photonic devices.

Prof. A. K. Adak is presently an Adjunct Faculty at IIT Bombay, where he teaches and mentors students, doctoral scholars, and post-doctoral researchers. He is a distinguished R&D leader with over 34 years of expertise in advanced water treatment, nuclear desalination, and clean energy technologies. Prior to joining IIT Bombay, Prof. Adak served as a scientist at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), where he headed the Desalination & Membrane Technology Division, under department of Atomic Energy. Prof. Adak also made significant contributions to the development of nuclear desalination technologies under the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Prof. Paknikar is the Agharkar Chair Professor and Ex-Director at the Agharkar Research Institute. His work in the field of delivery systems focuses on the delivery of drugs, proteins, peptides, siRNA and nutrients. Various delivery system e.g. polymeric nanoparticles and dendrimers are being explored for delivery of bioactive molecules in the treatment of cancers, Alzheimer's disease, candidiasis etc.
