Based on the past year's learnings, the IITB-UMA team designed a full-fledged credit-based course in 2023–24. The details of this course may be found here.
The IITB-UMA team got this course approved by the Dean, Educational Outreach, IIT Bombay as a part of the Continuing Education Programme for students in regional institutes.
The Higher and Technical Education Department, Government of Maharashtra recommended the APAV case study course to autonomous institutes in Maharashtra. In response, several autonomous colleges rolled out the course at their institutes.
Further, Kavayitri Bahinabai Chaudhari North Maharashtra University (KBCNMU), Jalgaon incorporated the APAV case study course in their curriculum through an MoU with IIT Bombay.
Moreover, Maharashtra Knowledge Corporation Limited (MKCL) announced the Prof. Ram Takwale Award cum Fellowship for selected good case studies. An MoU was signed with MKCL for this award. View award flyer →
About 500 students were enrolled for the APAV case study course in the second semester of 2023–24. The IITB-UMA team supported students at participating colleges with case study design workshops.
Apart from the APAV case study course, the team also conducted a pilot on internships under the APAV programme. This was executed in Lanja taluka where students from Kolhapur Institute of Technology studied road conditions and prepared detailed reports on the same.
