Abhishek received his bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering from Barkatullah University, Bhopal. He received his Masters degree from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal. He obtained his PhD thesis from the Dept. of Metallurgical Engineering and Materials Science at IIT Bombay. His PhD thesis is on application of graphene based materials for remediation of environmental polluion namely air and water pollution. His work mainly focuses on dye removal from wastewater using graphene based materials.

He obtained his PhD from Center for Research in Nanotechnology & Science (CRNTS), IIT Bombay. He was also a research fellow at the University of Birmingham, UK.He He received his M.Tech in Energy Technologies. His PhD research involved tailoring electrode materials with engineered nanostructures that can meet the critical requirements of electrochemical energy storage technologies. His areas of research are multifunctional 2D nanostructured materials using biomimetic strategies that involve expansion of compositional chemistry of interfacial layers, 3D hybrid architectures using nanostructured carbon materials, graphene, transition metal LDHs and dichalgoenides. Fabrication of high performance flexible supercapacitors, batteries and integrated hybrid energy storage devices.

Madhurima is pursuing her PhD at Center for Research in Nanotechnology & Science (CRNTS), IIT Bombay. She has received her B.Tech in Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from Heritage Institute of Technology, Kolkata (WBUT) in 2014 and M.Tech in Nano Science and Technology from Jadavpur University, Kolkata in 2017. Her current research is based on developing graphene based heavy metal sensors for water testing.
