Formation Control of Multiagent Systems
Formation control requires that the autonomous agents reach a specified formation shape or a geometrical cohesion under available information. The relevant information is usually the states of agents like position, velocity, and orientation, which are manipulated/controlled to achieve a geometric shape. The formation geometry can either be fixed or time-varying depending on the application.
Our current research focuses on ensuring multiagent formation in the presence of cooperative and antagonistic agents. Another direction in which we focus aims to address the multiagent formation problem under network resource constraints.
