ESRL is situated at Environmental Science and Engineering Department; however we are closely collaborating with Department of Civil Engineering, Centre of Climate Studies and Centre for Urban Science & Engineering. People from diversified fields make ESRL interdisciplinary in true sense. We primarily work on simulation and optimization of various water resources and environmental systems. As human induced and natural change is unequivocal, our research team is working on the quantification of impacts of climate change on hydrology, water resources and agriculture. We also work on solid waste management with the perspective of optimization and risk assessment.
