The group works on energy for irrigation, renewable energy, and rural electricity supply. We use a systemic lens to analyze implementation of technology with the overarching goal of equitable and sustainable development.
An equally important parallel component is an orientation of the engineering curriculum to field oriented and regional problems that lead to improved outcomes for both education and development.
